They are not you and should not try and sway you either way, put your foot down and show them you mean business! I am glad that you got some reassurance from your ob. I am very glad you got reassurance at your ob's office. I bet you were so relieved!!! What a great sign that nothing showed up brightly when the tech scanned you.Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15431384515813384025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1728610029063868611.post-54082251957544889192009-12-15T13:16:41.718-05:002009-12-15T13:16:41.718-05:00Our experience with the specialist was very simila...Our experience with the specialist was very similar. We felt pressure to have the amnio when we said many times that we didn't want it. I had to get pretty angry before the doc would listen to me. After a while of dealing with our emotional pregnancy, it wasn't too hard to get angry. :) I feel your pain!Whitneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17630681000846731449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1728610029063868611.post-49990152753758074202009-12-14T15:34:20.245-05:002009-12-14T15:34:20.245-05:00I"m so glad your ob's office was reassuri...I"m so glad your ob's office was reassuring. We had similar, awful experience with the genetics counselor (useless in my opinion) and the perinatologists while pregnant with SEth... it felt like EVERY appt. brought it's own new bad news..

Praying for peace and comfort for you!Kathryn @ Expectant Heartshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08629955139973507828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1728610029063868611.post-69871494463486617862009-12-14T11:19:23.755-05:002009-12-14T11:19:23.755-05:00Sorry that you have had to deal with such un-sensi...Sorry that you have had to deal with such un-sensitiveness. Some doctors are ALL business and no empathy. I think that it's their way of not getting emotional. You'd think that doctors dealing with mothers/babies would be warmer, but I've dealt with some that are horrible. They make you want to crawl off the exam table even in that paper gown and find an exit door. Good luck with Ms. Pushy. Sending prayers your way.Tiffanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13493576726012326958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1728610029063868611.post-21951950304644030852009-12-14T10:28:28.793-05:002009-12-14T10:28:28.793-05:00I really wish doctors didn't always think they...I really wish doctors didn't always think they know what is best for their patients when it comes to personal and emotional matters.
